The data centre specialist Enterprise computing has grown and changed over recent years. Enterprises now rely on their computing systems and data more than ever before - new regulatory rules govern how data must be stored, including the specification of data centres. Enterprises are now either having to build a new generation of data centres in house, or are having to outsource. Even when the data centre is already outsourced, constant changes in technology and data centre refurbishment and upgrades mean that specialist skills are needed. Our Data Centre Service has four key elements: Establishing the data centre infrastructure - Including size, layout, power provision, temperature and humidity control, physical security and IT cabling. This is a specialist skill set, related to building design and fit out that will directly affect the performance, resilience and security of your systems. Modelling application performance - This allows the client to establish whether the applications will perform adequately after relocation. An application which performs very well when the user and server are in the same office, may not if moved to a new office or regional data centre. We test and verify all applications will perform correctly after the move. Designing the network infrastructure - Designing a secure fast and reliable network to support the systems in the new environment. Transferring the systems - Either establishing new systems in the data centre and then transferring functionality to them without loss of service, or relocating the existing systems into the data centre with no downtime.
